Road trip to Namaqua

The Namaqua region of the Northern Cape is expecting a flower season of note this year! Although some of the flower-buds in the region started blooming, more flowers are projected to pop as soon as the air temperatures rise this springtime. Just imagine running through endless flower covered fields in perfect weather conditions…pure bliss.

Road trip to Green Kalahari

The Kalahari... where everything seems barren and deserted… and then the Great Orange River bursts through the moon-like landscape creating an oasis where one would think only rocks could survive.

Well, for those of you who might not kow, the Augrabies Falls National Park is actually located in the Green Kalahari... prominently known for its iconic quiver trees, and mind you, home to uniquely adapted animals such as mongoose, dassie and the Cape clawless otter. 

If you consider yourself an adventure junkie, then visiting this unique destination during spring should definitely be on your bucket list!
