TripAdvisor Traveller's choice awards 2018: An escape to Jozi, Marrakech or Grand Baie anybody?

Cape town - Hotel and travel website TripAdvisor has released the results of its annual Travellers' choice awards for 2018.

TripAdvisor takes a single year's worth of data and utilises an algorithm to analyse the millions of reviews and ratings for the various restaurants, attractions and hotels at various destinations.

The result is the TripAdvisor Travellers' Choice awards sees Cape Town in the top three and Johannesburg just slipping into the top ten list in Africa. Morocco is crushing both the #AfriTravel and Global Top Ten lists - as Paris, London and Rome continue to excite travellers as the top three destinations for the year ahead.

Top 10 in Africa:
