Cape Town - Calling all aviation geeks!
If you've always wanted to know what goes down in the cockpit of a major passenger plane, now is your chance.
New 360° footage showing the entire cockpit of an Airbus 380 has been published by Emirates, complete with two pilots who act as guides to talk you through all those buttons and levers...
The pilots, Captain Thomas Ziarno from New Zealand and First Officer Abdulrahman Mohamed Al Busaeedi from the United Arab Emirates, give a full-on, immersive 360-view tour of the flight deck controls of an Emirates A380, the world’s largest commercial aircraft.

To enjoy the 360-video experience, move your mobile device or navigate by touching the screen. If you are using a desktop, click and drag the video to view from any angle.
The pilots explain some of the new features in the cockpit, including computers that connect them directly to Dubai. Captain Ziarno also compares some of the video and GPS functions on his screen to Google maps and street view!
That can't be too difficult to operate, hey? Not really...
The Airbus A380 is the world's biggest passenger plane and piloting the aircraft can be extremely complicated. These professionals, however, make it seem like child's play.
