As you cross the border from SA, you’ll see women with buckets of water on their heads coming from the spring after collecting water. They don’t put their hands on the bucket to balance like you or I would, they just put it on their head and walk.
Traditional Basotho, decked with their tribal blankets, a big cultural tradition in the tiny African kingdom, all walking along the side of the road looking after their animals - sheep, goats, cattle, horses and donkeys.
Lesotho is known to be the Mountain Kingdom, primarily because of the majestic moutain range in the highlands of its kingdom. There are quite a number of ways in which these moutains can be explored. On your road trip, try at least one of them!
