Why Sir David Attenborough went to Glastonbury - one of the world's wildest music festivals

This past weekend, Sir David Attenborough served as a warm up act for the iconic Kylie Minogue as he graced the Pyramid stage at Glastonbury in the UK, one of the world's wildest music festivals that's been going since 1970.

Why was this 93-year-old legend with a voice so smooth you'd think it's liquid honey there, you ask? He seems slightly out of place amount hard-core music fans, jumping up and down to the sounds of Vampire Weekend.

The legendary nature-narrator started off by addressing the gargantuan crowd of close to 135 000, by diving into the horrors of plastic pollution. For the first time, the festival has gone completely plastic free - a trend many other festivals like Rocking The Daisies has adopted, becoming increasingly more eco-friendly.

He then went on to do a special presentation, announcing a new docu-series called Seven Worlds, One Planet. But the announcement of the series didn't go as smoothly as planned. Watch his hilarious slip-up here:
