A video of Julius Malema is circulating on social media in which the EFF leader seemingly mocks Home Affairs Minister Malusi Gigaba.

A little over a week ago, a video of "a sexual nature" featuring Gigaba surfaced online.

At the time, Gigaba said that his phone had been hacked and that he was being extorted. The video was circulated widely on social media, much to Gigaba's embarrassment and against the advice of social media lawyers.

In Malema’s video, filmed by himself in a moving vehicle, he mocks the minister, saying an earlier video of the EFF leader dancing at an event will not "replace" the video of the "porn star".

"… Julius Malema dancing… nicely enjoying himself [in] a video with the hope that that dance will replace porn star. Never. We are not playing with ourselves, we are playing music, baba ... that’s all."

Malema then bobs his head to the music.

Gigaba’s worries do not end with the leaked sex tape.

The DA on Monday said it would be asking the courts to review President Cyril Ramaphosa's appointment of Gigaba for lying under oath.

In 2017, the North Gauteng High Court in Pretoria ruled that Gigaba had lied under oath and that he had violated the Constitution.

Last week, the Constitutional Court dismissed Gigaba's application for leave to appeal the ruling.
