Cape Town - United States President Donald Trump is reportedly set to hold a "telephonic meeting" with his Nigerian counterpart President Mohammadu Buhari late on Monday.
According to Africa News, Trump was scheduled to speak to Buhari at about 15:45 Nigerian time (09:45 Washington DC time).
A journalist with The Globe and Mail, Geoffery York, tweeted and referred to the session as Trump's "Africa Day", as Trump was also expected to speak with South African leader Jacob Zuma.

The telephonic meeting comes as Buhari is currently on vacation in the United Kingdom to "complete and receive results of a series of tests recommended by his doctors".
It has been nearly a month since the Nigerian president left his country for the UK.
