Global anti-corruption non-profit organisation Transparency International has found that, out of 180 countries, South Africa is ranked 69th cleanest in terms of corruption reported. 

The organisation's 2020 Corruption Perceptions Index, released on Thursday, showed that the perception of corruption has hardly changed in South Africa over the past 10 years, despite efforts to restore capacity at agencies such as the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA).
