The governing party will be in the dock as much as every single one of these corruption accused will be, because they are all enabled and linked by the ANC; and the rot which has all but devoured its soul, writes Pieter du Toit.

South Africa has become a deeply, deeply cynical country. After years of almost unbridled corruption and criminally poor governance by the ANC, many of her citizens have resigned themselves to the fact that the theft of taxpayers’ money by the political elite is a fact of life.
