President Cyril Ramaphosa hinted on Wednesday that the country may soon shift to lockdown Level 1.

President Cyril Ramaphosa on Wednesday evening hinted that the country can move to lockdown Level 1, saying that discussions are currently under way with the National Coronavirus Command Council (NCCC) and social partners. 

In an engagement with the South African National Editors' Forum (Sanef), Ramaphosa said he would address the nation next week on the measures around the Covid-19 pandemic.
