A formal complaint has been laid against Dr Susan Vosloo, a leading South African medical expert, with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) after she made a number of false Covid-19 claims.

In a video that surfaced last week, Vosloo - the country's first woman heart surgeon - incorrectly claimed "the risk of the vaccine is worse than the risk of [the] virus", and the vaccine's composition was akin to a trade secret.
