In an unprecedented legal application, the State Capture Inquiry will push for former president Jacob Zuma to face jail time for contempt of the Constitutional Court, after he defied its ruling that he appear before the commission and answer questions that did not incriminate him.
Zuma responded by attacking Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo and accusing him of displaying "questionable judicial integrity, independence and open-mindedness".
He, however, insists he is ready to face any sentence imposed on him.
