The man who helped guide the Pumas to Currie Cup victory last week, Jimmy Stonehouse, says mental discipline was the secret behind the team's success. Stonehouse speaks to James de Villiers about how arrogance held him back in his career, and how he waited years for a big break to coach rugby at a large team. 

Pumas coach Jimmy Stonehouse, who helped lead his team to their first Currie Cup victory last week, says his arrogance has sometimes stood in the way of his career. 

Stonehouse, 58, takes a long breath and stares at the corner of his hotel room in Gqeberha. He is in the Eastern Cape, coaching the Champions Team, who are set to take on Italy A on Saturday.
