IPID’s new and first female head Jennifer Ntlatseng says talks are under way to move the directorate to the justice department and allow it to investigate traffic officials and metro police, and explains what might have gone wrong during time of her predecessor Robert McBride.

Barely three weeks into her term as Independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID) head, Jennifer Ntlatseng has already embarked on a grand mission to reshape the embattled institution.
