Dr Greg Mills is the head of the Brenthurst Foundation, founded in 2005 by the Oppenheimer family to strengthen African economic performance. He has degrees from the University of Cape Town and Lancaster University. Mills has directed various reform projects in Africa, working with the presidencies of Ethiopia, Mozambique, Ghana, Eswatini, Malawi, Afghanistan, Somaliland, and South Africa. He is the author of various books, including the bestselling Why Africa is Poor: And What Africans Can Do About It.
