The Man Who Never Was by Douglas Kruger. (Umuzi)

FIRST CHAPTER: The Man Who Never Was (Umuzi) is the debut novel by Douglas Kruger, author of several books about business, innovation and wealth, including Is Your Thinking Keeping You Poor? and Virus-Proof Your Small Business. In the novel, David shares a close bond with his eight-year-old son, Chris, but their family is destroyed when David is killed. In the afterlife, he is given an opportunity: he is granted three opportunities to see his son. He cannot help his boy. He cannot reach him, or teach him, or in any way change the course of his life. David agrees, and on three separate occasions observes his son’s unfolding story… Here is the first chapter of The Man Who Never Was (with a bit of chapter two).
