The Storyteller: Tales of Life and Music by Dave Grohl (Simon & Schuster)
Unrequited Infatuations by Stevie Van Zandt (White Rabbit)
I'm of the view that some pop-rock musicians, especially stars or those bordering stardom, are the modern world's proper poets. Their words are often prophetic and profound – Bob Dylan received the 2017 Nobel Prize in Literature – and they are influential because they reach the masses. That the rhymes happen to be wrapped in tunes is a bonus.
