DA leader John Steenhuisen has received much flak for his visit to war-torn Ukraine, styling himself as a war reporter to investigate "what really happened" on the ground.
Much of the criticism was justified. The DA has not covered itself in glory during his tenure, seeing an exodus of black leaders and losing support in last year's municipal elections.
