It is not so hard to guess who may be behind attacks on Eskom's critical infrastructure. Why is the government not acting with greater urgency? asks Adriaan Basson.

Someone is sabotaging Eskom, says CEO André de Ruyter, the man with the hardest job in the country (despite popular belief, it is not Rassie Erasmus).

As has become known, De Ruyter is not like some of his predecessors or political overlords who make grandiose statements like these without proof. Hours after his colleagues found evidence that supports attached to a pylon at Lethabo Power Station, near Vereeniging, were cut, he shared this information with the media.
