Ongoing corruption, economic decline and the Covid-19 pandemic could see Cyril Ramaphosa only serving one term, writes Daniel Silke. 

The political future of President Cyril Ramaphosa might be less certain than many observers think.

Indeed, while the President managed to revive a flagging ANC in the 2018 national polls on the back of a "New Dawn" mantra, the past 28 months have been less-than-stellar at best with the economy, Covid-19 and ongoing graft and corruption all contributing in equal measure to his troubles.
