China has accused the Biden administration of wanting a new Cold War, after the US, UK and Australia signed a new military pact, causing tensions to heat up in the Asia-Pacific region, writes John Matisonn.

Competition between the US and China for military advantage in the Asia-Pacific region heated up this week when the US, UK and Australia signed a new military pact (AUKUS).
