The Jacob Zuma Foundation has responded to the Zondo Commission's findings against him with its usual mix of threats and insults. But, Karyn Maughan writes, Zuma's claims about the commission have become the most glaring evidence of his deeply self-serving dishonesty.

Former president Jacob Zuma has spent the last six years refusing to account for the allegations of state capture corruption levelled against him.

His refusal to answer Public Protector Thuli Madonsela's questions led to the establishment of the Zondo Commission, where he again defiantly failed to provide answers about his nine years as South Africa's First Citizen – and his alleged abuse of the powers he enjoyed as president.
