Mandy Wiener questions why in light of revelations that whistleblower Athol Williams has left the country for his own safety, nothing has been done to protect whistleblowers in South Africa, despite all the noise from President Cyril Ramaphosa in his weekly newsletters, and statements from Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo. 

On Sunday night, state capture whistleblower Athol Williams released a statement saying he had left South Africa. He cited growing safety concerns that have been exacerbated by fellow whistleblower Babita Deokaran's assassination.
