As we navigate a post-state-capture era, we have to ensure that all the work of the commission is not in vain, writes Mandy Wiener

The fourth instalment of the Zondo commission's report finally dropped last week and was a punch in the gut for many of those who have long been named and implicated in the capture of the State. 

In particular, it was a scathing rebuke of those who were at the helm of Eskom during the Zuma era as the report found that they had benefited from the Guptas and facilitated their capture of the state-owned entity.
