Following the announcement that South Africa was postponing its AstraZeneca rollout, there seems to be more 'expert opinion' out and about. Mandy Wiener writes that, in a pandemic, we need to have faith in the scientists and trust that they know what they are doing.

Do you remember when the Oscar Pistorius trial was in full swing and everyone became a criminal law expert?

As a journalist reporting on the case, it was a minefield. When each expert witness took the witness stand, it would appear that they were being peer reviewed by the public.
