One wonders what the victims of his reign of terror will think when they see Dalindyebo driving around in a luxury car, writes Mpumelelo Mkhabela

"His behaviour was all the more deplorable because the victims of his reign of terror were the vulnerable rural poor, who were dependent upon him."

This is how in October 2015 the Supreme Court of Appeal [SCA] described the behaviour of the convicted criminal Buyelekhaya Dalindyebo. His reign of terror was executed in his capacity as king of the AbaThembu in the Eastern Cape for several years since 1995.
