Mpumelelo Mkhabela | Zondo report shows a coup took place. Now fund the NPA to prevent it happening again

After the Zondo Commission, the next real battle to rid the country of state capture and prevent a similar disaster in future must be fought through NPA-led prosecutions, writes Mpumelelo Mkhabela. 

South Africa experienced a silent coup. We call it state capture.

The coup was incomplete in many respects. Taken as a whole, Chief Justice Raymond Zondo’s report suggests the overthrow of democracy was far advanced.
