Former president Jacob Zuma's strategy is to abuse the judicial system and avoid finality on the allegations of state capture, writes Mpumelelo Mkhabela.

On 13 December 2017, the Gauteng High Court in Pretoria put a stamp of approval on a commission of inquiry into state capture to be established as recommended by then Public Protector Thuli Madonsela.

In her report on allegations of state capture that implicated President Jacob Zuma, Madonsela recorded how Zuma had refused over a period of time to answer questions related to the allegations.
