South Africans are desperately trying to put the Covid-19 experience behind them, despite the reality that the infection rate is on the increase.
Lockdown regulations were relaxed for a variety of reasons, ranging from the worsening economic situation that has unleased unemployment to the realisation that the virus was not putting as much pressure on the public health system as initially feared.
