It is difficult for Cyril Ramaphosa to make a persuasive case to fire Lindiwe Sisulu from her position in Cabinet because the main issue at the centre of the saga – the ANC and judiciary - is not a settled matter within the party, writes Ralph Mathekga.

The ongoing Lindiwe Sisulu saga shows without doubt that the ANC is once again dragging the country into the party's nasty factional battles. This time, however, the party has upped the game by playing Russian roulette with our constitutional order.

The Sisulu matter is very divisive and has proved too complex to handle, as indicated in the raging public debate. I have spoken to different journalists about the matter, and some have come out disappointed at my take.
