The IPTS bus service has resumed operations.
The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality would like to inform commuters and residents that the Libhongolethu IPTS bus service has resumed operations.
The service has been suspended since January 6 this year due to an illegal strike by some of the employees due to the payment of bonuses.
The bus service resumed today, February 7 at 05:00 as per the usual schedule. The resumption of the service follows an intervention by the municipality’s Roads and Transport Directorate.
The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality would like to apologise for the inconvenience that the strike action has caused to commuters who use this transport system as their reliable transport to and from work and schools.
