Garmin’s stunning new range was designed to be the ultimate companion for women with active lifestyles. With numerous features and a plethora of customisable options, the Venu and Venu S2 smartwatches can be adapted to suit your unique needs, and their all-day monitoring features will give you deeper insights into your lifestyle.

Hey, good lookin’

The Venu 2 range is stylish and compact. It has an AMOLED display and comes in two sizes: a 45 mm watchcase with a 22 m band or a 40 mm watchcase with an 18 mm band (to cater to smaller wrists). A stainless-steel bezel and a quick release silicone band round off its appeal.

Battery life is also a big winner. The Venu 2 can run up to 11 days in smartwatch mode and up to eight hours in GPS mode. The Venu 2S’ battery lasts up to 10 days in smartwatch mode and up to seven hours in GPS mode.

Apps, apps and more apps

In addition to a vast array of fitness apps, Venu 2/2S also give you access to numerous lifestyle-based apps (via Garmin Connect) that cater specifically to women.

A brand-new addition is Fitness Age. This feature tracks your heartrate, respiration, BMI and fitness levels to determine whether you are fit according to your age and body type. It estimates your age using chronological age, fitness and the innovative Health Snapshot. Snapshot calculates various metrics in a two-minute timespan to present you with a full picture in a quick and effective manner. These new features will provide you with more meaningful insights into whether you are achieving your overall wellness goals.

All-day health monitoring is what the Garmin Venu 2 range is all about. Heart rate monitoring will let you know when your levels get high or low, all-day stress monitoring will tell you when it’s time to slow down and hydration tracking will help you stay hydrated.

Keeping step with Garmin’s ambition to create smartwatches that meet women’s needs, the Venu 2 range also allows you to track and get insights into your menstrual cycle or pregnancy.

Body Battery keeps check of your energy levels, so that your day can be planned well in advance – a great feature for the busy lifestyle of today’s active women.

The Sleep Score is a fantastic tool. Now, you can effectively monitor your sleep cycle according to your energy needs. Rest assured that you’ll get the very best sleep possible with the help of the Venu 2 range.

With over 1400 exercises to choose from, you can create a tailor-made fitness programme to suit your needs. Activity profiles for indoor and outdoor activities, such as HIIT, indoor climbing, bouldering and hiking, also give precise metrics for each individual activity. Popular lifestyle activities, like yoga and Pilates, are also included.

For a superior and efficient workout, the on-screen HIIT activities also illustrate how these exercises should be done and which muscles are targeted. An enhanced strength training profile with muscle map graphics and expanded workout capabilities further adds to the Venu 2/S2’s immense capabilities.

Music is always a great accompaniment to get your body moving! The Venu 2 is compatible with Spotify, Deezer and Amazon Music. And it can store over 650 songs, so you don’t need your phone if you want to listen to music.

Other excellent features include contactless payments and notifications and calendar updates from your smartphone. Safety is another key feature of the Venu 2/2S – automatic incident detection and manual trigger alerts send your real-time location to your emergency contacts. And LiveTrack allows family and friends to track your activity whilst you sweat it out in the great outdoors.
