The Dyson AirwrapTM multi-styler is the most awarded styling tool in South Africa – here’s why.

Imagine an efficient tool that allows you to do everything you want with your hair, but without all the damage that heat usually causes. Dyson’s brand-new, best-performing and most efficient AirwrapTM multi-styler does it all! It features a powerful motor, a rotating and cooling tip, and boasts the Coanda effect, as well as combined attachments that do more than one job so you don’t have to keep switching while you style. Plus, it is more energy efficient.

What is the Coanda effect?

The Coanda phenomenon occurs when air, propelled at the right speed and pressure, naturally follows an adjacent surface, entraining surrounding air and with it, hair. And that’s exactly what the Dyson AirwrapTM multi-styler does. It uses powerful, precise airflow so you can start styling your hair while it’s wet or damp. Get perfectly styled, dry hair without the need for extreme heat, all while protecting your hair from heat damage.

Suitable for different hair types

The design is led by Dyson’s continued dedication to better understand hair damage and hair types, so this fully customisable styling tool delivers a range of styles for different hair types, without ever using extreme heat.

The attachments

• Coanda smoothing dryer: For ease of styling, there are multiple modes in this one attachment. Quickly take hair from wet to damp in pre-style mode or finish your style by hiding flyaways in smoothing mode. Coanda airflow attracts and lifts longer hairs, hiding flyaways out of sight for a smoother, shiny finish.

• Firm and soft brushes: Enhanced Coanda airflow attracts and aligns hair with increased control for a straighter style and smoother result. Large and soft as well as small brushes are available.

• A wide-tooth comb attachment, made for curly and coily hair, helps to add shape, volume, and length as it dries. Dyson’s comb teeth are designed with soft curved tips to glide through the hair, with no sharp edges to catch, pull or cause damage.

• Airwrap barrels: These allow you to switch airflow direction as you style. You can now create clockwise and anticlockwise curls with one barrel, because Coanda airflow attracts and self-wraps hair around the barrel. This creates natural, voluminous curls and reduces styling time. Available in 30mm and 40mm barrels for a range of styles.

• Round volumizing brushes: These help to create volume and shape. They are ideal for creating tension to shape finer and straighter hair.

A quick-release switch and cool-touch tip allow you to quickly change attachments while styling, while negative ions help reduce static in the hair during styling. The Cool Shot helps you to set your style.

Energy efficient

Engineering lean machines is a core principle at Dyson – developing long lasting, high performing and efficient products with fewer resources and empowering the next generation of engineers to design a more sustainable future through science and technology. This can be seen throughout the Dyson AirwrapTM multi-styler, from the very motor that powers the tool through to the increased efficiency and enhanced performance, ultimately resulting in reduced energy consumption.
