He might not be in the same league as his stronger brothers, but  when it comes to towing, you don’t need more than the 2 l single-turbo engine in the Ford Ranger 2.0 SiT XLT. 

Like the rest of the Ranger’s 2 l models (also the 3,2 l versions) the towbar and trailer sway control come standard. In fact, only the very basic 2,2 l model, the 2.2 TDCi 4x2 Base Hi-Rider, comes without it.

Towing therefore forms an integral part of the Ranger, whether it is used as a family bakkie or a cargo bakkie.
