With my own eyes: Eagle klaps baboon in Botswana

One day in the Tuli Block in Botswana, Steve Wimberley saw a male baboon sitting on top of Eagle Rock. The poor guy got the fright of his life when a Verreaux’s eagle made a sudden appearance.

I first visited the Tuli Block in Botswana in 2013 and absolutely fell in love with the area. The scenery is spectacular, especially along the Limpopo River where large mashatu (nyala) trees grow, and the birding is top drawer.
