Local team bags multiple awards

HAILED as the “Oscars” for the RE/MAX property organisation, the RE/MAX Southern Africa Awards lunch recently saw a number of worthy winners from the Eastern Cape and Garden Route regions at the prestigious Lake De La Vie estate on March 5.

RE/MAX operates in over 100 countries, 14 within the African Continent, with more than 120 000 sales associates worldwide, of which RE/MAX Southern Africa has 2 402.

Team Christo Slabbert bagged multiple awards at this year’s event.

These include the Double Diamond award, one of only six recipients nationally, for most commission earned for 2018, the number one sales team by registered commissions Eastern Cape and Garden Route for 2018, the number three sales team by registered commissions nationally for 2018 and the team achieved Premiere Club Status awarded to a select group of top producing sales associates who lead the industry in real estate and outstanding customer service to their clients and communities.

They were also Sales Team of the Year 2018 for the most Properties Sold for the year of 2018.

The team is ranked number 12 in the world.

Slabbert attributed the success as a team effort and said that he is extremely blessed and proud to work with a group of outstanding quality individuals who are committed and passionate about their work.

He also acknowledged the mentorship and support provided by Kobie Potgieter as broker/owner of RE/MAX Independent properties in Lorraine.

The next event will be held at Sun City in February 2020.
