The ANC announced the new members of the party's national executive committee at press briefing attended by ANC electoral committee chairperson Kgalema Motlanthe, secretary general Fikile Mbalula, first deputy secretary general Nomvula Mokonyane on Wednesday afternoon.

Of the 80 additional members elected to serve on the ANC NEC, 41 are women and 31 men.
