Talk about landing the forever home of your dreams!
Joe Biden’s German Shepherd, Major, will officially become the first rescue dog to call the White House home come 20 January when the 77-year-old is sworn in.
The handsome mutt has been with the Democrat leader and his wife, Dr Jill Biden, since 2018. They adopted him through the Delaware Humane Association after their daughter, Ashley, introduced them to a litter of puppies.
They originally only wanted to foster him but he quickly crept into their hearts.
He joins their other German Shepherd, Champ (the nickname Joe’s father gave him as a child), who they adopted in 2008 as a puppy.
