Former University of Cape Town ethics lecturer Athol Williams made headlines this week when he said he was being forced to leave South Africa over fears for his safety. 

This after he blew the whistle on companies and individuals involved in state capture, including Bain & Company, where he worked briefly.  

Bain & Company was involved in the controversial restructuring of SARS, which critics widely regarded as a hobbling of SARS' core revenue collection duties.
