Sometimes, you have to feel for President Cyril Ramaphosa. Despite his best efforts to resuscitate the ANC after years of capture by crony networks, provincial mafias and international syndicates, the party's KwaZulu-Natal chapter rejected his reformist agenda over the weekend and elected leaders loyal to former president and parolee Jacob Zuma.
