When all factors are taken into consideration, Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga is nothing but a failed minister, argues Sipho Masondo. He breaks down where he feels the minister could have done better.

Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga is unlikely to be reappointed to her current position after the general elections next year.

If she doesn't remain in her position, it will be good riddance to a politician who presided over a department which failed to produce an education system fit for the needs of a modern economy.
