More than a week after 21 teenagers died at the Enyobeni tavern in East London, there is still no word on the cause of death. Publications have assumed that the tragedy was caused either by carbon monoxide poisoning or chemical poisoning, but the MEC's office has continued asking people not to speculate. The matter is "under investigation" is the repeated phrase while those who care wait for information.
