While US President Joe Biden has reversed former president Donald Trump's policies to put climate change back on the agenda, his effort to lead the world to a low carbon future hit stumbling blocks at home and abroad, writes John Matisonn.

US President Joe Biden left Glasgow's COP26 meeting on climate change, highlighting agreements on funding, as well as cuts in methane production and deforestation while blaming China and Russia for failing to do enough.
