The nomination process for candidates standing for the top six positions in the ANC has finally concluded, nudging the party closer to the contentious elective conference to be held in three weeks.
The conclusion of nominations by party branches follows intense lobbying by candidates, including some hasty, premature announcements by respective provincial executive committees regarding which candidates they prefer for provincial chapters of the party.
