There should be accountability from within if political parties enter into a coalition, and politics must come second, writes Herman Mashaba.

No political party campaigns to be in a coalition, just like no sports team plans for a draw.

Majority governments are without a doubt more stable, stronger and decisive – this aligns more readily to the urgent demands South Africans have of their municipalities.
