Within a few short months of the 2019 national and provincial elections, the world changed forever. We entered 2020 with a deadly virus spreading rapidly around the world – a global pandemic – and like the rest of the world, South Africa had to introduce lockdowns and restrictions to balance the need to save lives and livelihoods.
The pandemic, and the various levels of restrictions, severely curtailed political activity, and for GOOD, as a brand new party, it disrupted some of our efforts to establish party structures at a local level – branches at ward level.
