Q&A | UDM leader Bantu Holomisa: 'We need gazetted guidelines to improve coalitions in SA'

James de Villiers speaks to UDM leader Bantu Holomisa, whose party has been involved in coalitions in Cape Town and Gqeberha, about what is needed to stabilise coalitions in South Africa moving forward. 

For coalitions to operate more effectively, United Democratic Movement (UDM) leader Bantu Holomisa believes guidelines should be gazetted on how they should operate.

This, as the country prepares for the municipal elections on 1 November that may see a number of municipalities across the country being run by coalition governments.
