Phuthi Mahanyele-Dabengwa, CEO Naspers South Africa, gave an inspirational speech to the Business Women's Association of South Africa for Women’s Month.

Opening with a quote from Michelle Obama — "All of us are driven by a simple belief that the world as it is just won't do: that we have an obligation to fight for the world as it should be"— she addresses issues of gender equity and equality. Calling on society to do more to close the gender gap and ensure more equality. She points out that while more women graduate from our universities, only a small percentage make it to the top in the corporate world. Where have all these bright young women graduates gone, she asks?

Phuthi also speaks about the importance of engaging with people, why we need to find balance in our lives, and on the obligation, for leaders, to be active role models and mentors for young career professionals whenever we can.
