Naspers Foundry, Naspers’s early-stage tech investment vehicle, announced a R34 million investment in digital insurance advice platform Ctrl. Ctrl is South Africa's first digital short-term insurance marketplace connecting consumers, brokers and insurers on a single platform.

CEO and Co-founder Pieter Venter talks about how the company gives consumers increased convenience and more control over their own insurance needs. He explains how it provides insurance brokers with a more effective way to service their clients, freeing up time to focus on their customers' needs. He also has some sound advice on the strength of a team as a start-up and why Naspers Foundry was an ideal partner to help grow the business.
