The 0% alcohol market has taken the global market by storm with data from IWSR, a source of data on the global beverage alcohol market, revealing that the no/low alcohol category value surpassed $11bn in 2022 up from $8 billion in 2018.

The latest player to tap into this lucrative market is Tanqueray, who have taken their four perfectly balanced botanicals and crafted them into an alcohol-free spirit. Tanqueray 0.0 Alcohol-Free allows you to discover your favourite evergreen taste of Tanqueray London Dry, but without the alcohol.

How it’s made

Alcohol-free spirit is generally made using a similar process to traditional gin. Botanicals are macerated or steeped in a neutral spirit to extract their flavours.

Tanqueray’s expert innovation team has combined years of expertise and historic Gin distilling knowledge to create a credible alcohol-free experience. Tanqueray 0.0% is created by distilling the same botanicals used in Tanqueray London Dry Gin.

These botanicals are individually immersed in water, heated, and then distilled before being expertly blended to capture the essence of Tanqueray in a delicious alcohol-free alternative. This special distillation process is a closely guarded secret, known only to a handful of people and we are incredibly proud to be bringing gin drinkers that juniper and citrus led taste they’re expecting from Tanqueray when they choose not to drink alcohol.

Tanqueray 0.0% is alcohol-free, containing trace levels of alcohol (0.015% ABV), which is less than a glass of orange juice.

The taste

Because it’s created in a similar manner, without the alcohol to Tanqueray London Dry Gin and uses the same four perfectly balanced botanicals, Tanqueray 0.0 offers that same crisp and refined drink that can be enjoyed in a delectable cocktail.

When do I drink this 0.0?

Whenever you wish to moderate your alcohol intake, simply add ice, tonic and a fresh lime wedge for the perfect 0.0 T&T (Tanqueray and Tonic). Perhaps during those after-work drinks when you still need to drive yourself home? Or during those Sunday lunches with the in-laws or after a relaxing Spa Day when you are doing a detox but would still love a T&T. The opportunities are endless.

Adding a flair in any cocktail, this alcohol-free spirit is a refined and tasty drink that can be enjoyed anywhere, anytime.
